Ahmed Ahmed
Professor of gynaecological oncology at the Oxford University
Prof. Ahmed Ahmed is a Professor of Gynaecological Oncology at the Nuffield Department of Women's & Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford and a Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon at the Oxford Cancer and Haematology Centre. He is also a Fellow of St Hugh’s College. Leading translational research in Gynaecological Oncology, his primary focus is on ovarian cancer. After graduating from Ain Shams University in Cairo, he completed his PhD and surgical training at the University of Cambridge, followed by postdoctoral training at both Cambridge and the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre. He became a Clinical Reader in Oxford in 2010 and a Professor in 2012.
