Dr. Urban Alehagen is one of Sweden´s most experienced cardiologists and is a Professor in Cardiology at the University of Linköping, Sweden. 

He is a specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and odontology. Dr. Alehagen headed the KiSel-10 research team as well as the principal investigator for the Kisel-10 study – where the effect of supplementation with selenium and oenzyme Q10 has been studied. First demonstrating the clinical positive effects and then investigating the effects among other things on oxidative stress, different bio-markers and inflammation by the supplementation.

His research interests are Heart Failure, Cardiology, Cardiac Function, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography. He published 151 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.
