Tom Ough is a London-based writer, senior editor at UnHerd, and author of the book The Anti-Catastrophe League, in which he explores major threats to humanity and how society might avert them. Earlier in his career he worked as a journalist for major newspapers including The Telegraph and The Times, and he now writes and researches on global risk, climate, technology, and existential dangers. He also co-hosts the Anglofuturism podcast and has contributed research for think-tanks focused on pandemic prevention and other long-term challenges.
