Thomas P. Seager is an associate professor at Arizona State University’s School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment, where his work bridges engineering and social science to address challenges in resilient infrastructure and sustainable development. His research explores the environmental impacts of new energy technologies, innovative teamwork strategies in socio-technical systems, and ethics in engineering, supported by organizations such as the National Science Foundation and the Environmental Protection Agency. As the faculty director of the Resource Innovation Solutions Network (RISN), Seager promotes the transition to circular economies by mentoring entrepreneurs through a specialized incubator. He also leads XSETGames, LLC, creating interactive simulations to tackle complex ethical and economic dilemmas, used by universities, corporations, and government agencies worldwide. Additionally, he established the Sustainability Conoscente Network, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing systems-based solutions for sustainable technologies.
