Simonetta Longhi
Professor in Economics at the University of Reading
I am an applied economist with a background in regional science and labour economics. My current research focuses on inequality in labour market outcomes by gender, ethnicity, and disability; unemployment, on-the-job search and retirement. Most of my research uses large individual and household data such as the UK Labour Force Survey, the British Household Panel Study, and the UK Household Longitudinal Study.
I am currently Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Reading. I am also Research Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Labour (IZA) and Research Affiliate of the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM).
