Saxon Smith

Clinical dermatologist and researcher, Skin health expert

Clinical Associate Professor Saxon D Smith is a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Otago, New Zealand and holds a Masters of Health Law and Doctor of Philosophy (Medicine) from the University of Sydney. He has completed the healthcare laser safety officer certificate and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2019 he was admitted to the Roll of Fellows with the Australian Medical Association for services to medicine and the association.

Clinical Associate Professor Saxon D Smith has practiced dermatology in a number of teaching hospitals including the St Vincent’s Hospital, John Hunter Hospital, Liverpool Hospital and Royal North Shore. Currently, he is in private practice in Gosford and St Leonards, and a staff specialist dermatologist at Royal North Shore Hospital where he runs a cutaneous oncology clinic with surgical dermatology and immuno-oncology patients, as well as a subspecialty multidisciplnary clinics in the management of hidradinitis suppurativa, dermatological issues in renal transplant patients and dermatological issues in neurology patients.
