Associate Professor at the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health
Dr. Rays H.Y. Jiang, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global, Environmental, and Genomic Health Sciences at the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health. With a doctorate in genomics from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, she previously worked as a computational biologist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and at Harvard University. At USF, she founded the institution’s first genomics laboratory—pioneering an innovative hybrid model that integrates computational biology with experimental research. Her laboratory advances methods in omics technologies, systems biology, infectious disease genomics, quantitative genetics, and human metabolism, earning recognition for interdisciplinary innovation and inclusivity.
