Dr. Ramses Alcaide is an electrical engineer and neuroscientist with a PhD and Master's in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. He previously led Pharo LLC, where he developed neurological rehabilitation technologies, and conducted early BCI research focused on assistive devices for individuals with conditions like cerebral palsy, ALS, and limb loss. As the founder and CEO of Neurable, he has pioneered consumer-friendly brain-computer interface products—such as brain-sensing headphones—and led efforts to scale neurotechnology through industry partnerships and defense contracts. He is also a recipient of multiple innovation awards and fellowships and was named among Forbes' Next 1000 entrepreneurs.
