Pump.Science
Community-driven platform funding real-time lifespan experiments
Pump.Science is a bold initiative aiming to reshape longevity research by combining blockchain, open science, and community participation. The platform lets anyone — not just traditional labs — propose or fund experiments designed to test compounds that might extend lifespan. Each proposed intervention becomes a token on the platform, and trading or funding of that token finances real experiments, beginning with simple organisms like worms and progressing to flies, mice, and perhaps eventually humans. Data from these experiments are streamed in real time, providing transparency and enabling participants to track progress as results unfold. Ownership of tokens also gives holders a stake in the intellectual property, meaning supporters may share in potential downstream discoveries if a compound proves effective. The goal: democratize research, lower barriers to funding, and accelerate the discovery of interventions that might increase human “healthspan.”
