Oscar Schwartz is a freelance writer and researcher based in New York City. He is interested in how technology interacts with our social, cultural and emotional experience of the world.

Previously, he was a doctoral researcher at Monash University, where he earned a PhD for a thesis unconvering the history of machines that write literature.
