Neil Ward serves as Vice President and General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Pacific Biosciences (PacBio). A seasoned veteran in the genomics industry with over two decades of global experience, he is deeply passionate about the transformative potential of highly accurate, in-depth genomic applications to improve human health. Across various commercial roles, he has been a driving force behind some of the most significant genomics initiatives worldwide, including Genomics England’s 100,000 Genomes Project, the Estonian Genome Project, and the whole-genome sequencing of 500,000 samples from the UK Biobank.
