Martin Matsumura, MD, is a cardiologist and chief of Cardiology at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center for the Geisinger Heart Institute. Dr. Matsumura obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Matsumura is board certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Heart Association. Dr. Matsumura’s clinical interests include sports and exercise cardiology.
