Fundamental biological processes cause physiological decline with age, and are the #1 risk factor for most diseases in the developed world. Successfully modifying these thus represents the highest leverage we have for biomedically alleviating human disease, and recent research has demonstrated that this is in fact possible. I spend my time moving us closer to that goal, previously through academic research and public engagement, now as a biotech entrepreneur.
