Dr. Mark Tarnopolsky is a distinguished clinician-scientist specializing in neuromuscular and neurometabolic disorders. He serves as a Professor and Division Head in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and holds the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation Chair in Neuromuscular Disorders .
With both an MD and a PhD in Cell Biology and Metabolism from McMaster University, Dr. Tarnopolsky has dedicated his career to understanding and treating conditions related to mitochondrial dysfunction, muscle disorders such as muscular dystrophy, and other neurometabolic diseases.
