Manuel Ansede is a science journalist and was previously an animal doctor. He is co-founder of Materia, the Science section of EL PAÍS.

Ansede graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid, he completed a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication of Science, Technology, Environment and Health at the Carlos III University.
