Professor Ljiljana Fruk is a scientist at the University of Cambridge's Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. Her research focuses on biomaterials, nanotechnology, and the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic tools, including cancer detection methods. She leads interdisciplinary projects exploring bio-inspired nanomaterials and enzyme-based sensors for medical applications. In addition to her scientific work, she is passionate about science communication and has co-authored books on nanotechnology and molecular sciences.
