Dr. Kosuke Kato is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Pulmonary division at Baylor College of Medicine, where he leads translational research into lung health and disease. With a background that includes a PhD in Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and postdoctoral training in respiratory biology, Dr. Kato has recently focused on exploring the anti-aging and systemic effects of psilocybin. He is the lead author of a study that found psilocybin can extend cellular lifespan, preserve telomeres, and significantly improve survival in aged mice.
