PhD student
Jyotiprakash Behera is an Integrated PhD student at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, working at the intersection of physics, optics, and nanotechnology. Affiliated with the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE), his research focuses on magnetic nanobots and active matter. He studies how externally applied magnetic and optical fields can control the motion of colloidal rods and nanohelices in complex fluids. His work, including publications in Nature Communications, has implications for targeted drug delivery and microscale robotics. Behera collaborates with Prof. Ambarish Ghosh's group and is emerging as a promising researcher in the field of nanorobotics.
