​Dr. Jianzhong Su is a professor and director of the Institute of Biomedical Big Data at Wenzhou Medical University. He also serves as a principal investigator at the Wenzhou Institute of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Su earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Harbin Institute of Technology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Dan L. Duncan Cancer Center, Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas.

His research focuses on genetic and epigenetic data mining of complex diseases, identification of molecular markers in liquid biopsy, single-cell big data analysis, and the development of intelligent algorithms. Dr. Su has developed ten computational algorithms and databases and has authored over 40 peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals such as Nature Genetics, Blood, Nature Communications, Genome Biology, Nucleic Acids Research, and PNAS.
