Dr. Jiang He is a distinguished epidemiologist and public health expert renowned for his pioneering research in cardiometabolic diseases. Currently serving as the Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the Peter O'Donnell Jr. School of Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center, he holds the S. Roger and Carolyn P. Horchow Chair in Cardiac Research.​

Dr. He has authored over 750 peer-reviewed research articles, amassing more than 170,000 citations, and has been a principal investigator or co-investigator on over 50 National Institutes of Health-funded studies . His extensive work has significantly contributed to the understanding and prevention of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, stroke, and cardiovascular conditions.​
