Board-certified orthopedic surgeon for The Center for Orthopedic Surgery

Jeff Headrick, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He is fellowship trained in Adult Hip and Knee replacement surgery as well as the latest techniques for the young arthritic patient. He also has extensive experience in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, ACL Reconstruction and other Sports Medicine techniques.

Dr. Headrick, a native of Sweetwater, Texas, joined The Center for Orthopedic Surgery in Lubbock, Texas after serving twenty years in the U.S. Navy. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering.  He was a nuclear engineer officer in the submarine service for five years.  After graduation from Texas Tech Medical School, he completed internship at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, CA and the Phoenix Orthopedic Residency Program in Phoenix, AZ. He served as an orthopedic surgeon with the US Marines at Camp Lejeune, NC overseas at U.S. Naval Hospital Guam, U.S. Naval Hospital Portsmouth and aboard hospital ship USNS Comfort during wartime.
