Hannah Kuchler is the global pharmaceutical editor at the Financial Times, where she leads coverage of the global drug industry. She was part of the FT team recognised with an honourable mention at the SABEW awards for its reporting on the Covid-19 pandemic. Previously, as the US pharma and biotech correspondent in New York, she collaborated with PBS Frontline on an Emmy-nominated and Loeb Award-winning documentary about the opioid crisis. Before that, she spent over five years in San Francisco as a technology correspondent, focusing on social media and cybersecurity.
