Gabi Ben-Dor is the first incumbent of the Mower Professorial Chair of Shock Wave Studies at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) and the head of the Protective Technologies R&D Center, which he established, since 1997.
