Filippo is an internationally renowned physician, author and speaker with a long career in preventive medicine and longevity. He has worked as an astronaut doctor at the European Space Agency, helping to develop health programs for space missions.

• He was a physician to astronauts at the European Space Agency (ESA) from 2000 to 2007, and collaborated with NASA and the Russian Space Agency.
• He was the first Italian doctor to obtain certification in anti-aging medicine in the USA (ABAARM) and in functional medicine (IFM).
• He founded and directed the first institute of anti-aging medicine in Italy.
