Ophthalmologist and Clinical Professor at University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine
David Boyer is a Board-certified ophthalmologist and Adjunct Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology with the University of Southern California/Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, CA. He has an extensive research background and is currently an investigator for various clinical trials. He is one of the leading retinal clinical researchers in the country for new treatments in macular degeneration and diabetic macular edema. He is Senior Partner at Retina-Vitreous Associates Medical Group with offices in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, North Hollywood, Torrance, Pasadena, Tarzana and Glendale, California.
David received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign, IL, after which he completed a medical degree at the Chicago Medical School. In 1976, he finished his residency at the Los Angeles County -USC County Medical Center. A year long retinal surgery fellowship at the Wills Eye Hospital, in Philadelphia, completed his training.
