Charlotte Manisty

Senior Lecturer at University College London and a Consultant Cardiologist

Dr. Charlotte Manisty has a proven track record as a dedicated and experienced clinical and academic cardiologist with a sub-speciality interest in heart failure and advanced cardiac imaging.

Based at UCLH and Barts Health NHS Trusts, her clinical practice includes all aspects of adult cardiology, but her subspecialist interests are in heart failure and advanced cardiovascular imaging (cardiac MRI and echocardiography). She set up and leads the specialist Cardio-oncology service at Barts Hospital to assess and treat cancer patients with heart problems. She has developed a service for MRI scanning patients with cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators, and co-authored the national recommendations for MRI imaging in patients with implantable cardiac devices.
