Benjamin joined the Cooper group in February 2016 as a postgraduate research student. He is doing a joint PhD with Computer science. For his PhD, he is focusing on robotics including manipulation and grasping, probabilistic robotics, algorithms for material optimization and experimental robotic work under the supervision of Prof. Andy Cooper, Prof. Karl Tuyls and Prof. Katie Atkinson.
He obtained his bachelor degree in Chemistry in 2012, his bachelor degree in Computer Science in 2012, and his master degree in Computing Science in 2015 from the University Of Utrecht. During his master's thesis he researched on Genetic Algorithms with a focus on discrete problems.
