Amelia Anderson
Head of Scientific Computing & Co-Founder at Cyclarity Therapeutics
Amelia earned her B.S. in biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2018, her Master’s in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modeling from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2021, and is currently earning her Ph.D. from USC for her work at Cyclarity. Putting a lifelong love of science to work, she began at SENS Research Foundation as a summer intern, pioneering the work on cyclodextrin computational modeling, and is now leading the computational team at Cyclarity to spearhead the creation of the first platform for cyclodextrin drug development. When she’s not doing science, Amelia loves caring for her menagerie of pets, making bad science jokes, and exploring the great outdoors.
