Alexander Dakhovnik

Biogerontologist

Alexander Dakhovnik is a biogerontologist and founder of SYDRA, where he develops AI-driven approaches to discover new geroprotective compounds. With a PhD in molecular biology and postdoctoral work at ETH Zürich, he focuses on ageing mechanisms, drug discovery, and longevity interventions tested in vivo. His research spans machine-learning-guided compound discovery, genetics, epigenetics, senolytics, and cellular reprogramming. He recently co-authored a high-profile study showing how a collagen-inspired amino acid ratio can improve healthspan and reduce biological age. Through SYDRA and his academic work, he aims to create scientifically grounded tools to slow age-related decline and extend healthy human life.
