Thomas Lüscher is a consultant cardiologist and director of research, education and development working at both Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals.
He is continuing his role with the Centre for Molecular Cardiology, Zurich and the Zurich Heart House Foundation for Cardiovascular Research with the view to establish collaborations with the UK on research projects.
Thomas Lüscher studied medicine at the University of Zurich, specialising in internal medicine and cardiology. Prior to his current position he was Professor of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Basel, then Professor and vice-chairman of cardiology at the Inselspital of the University of Berne, Switzerland.
