Professor at Northwest University
Shisheng Sun is a professor at Northwest University, Xi'an, China, where he has served since February 2017. Prior to this, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins Medicine from September 2011 to January 2017. During his time at Johns Hopkins, he developed a novel NGAG method for comprehensive analyses of N-linked glycoproteomes, leading to a first-author publication in Nature Biotechnology. He also played a key role in the National Cancer Institute's Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium, where he successfully analyzed 122 ovarian tumors, providing high-quality global proteomic and glycoproteomic data.
