Principal Investigator and Chief Executive of UK Biobank

Rory Collins was appointed Principal Investigator and Chief Executive of UK Biobank in September 2005. He is co-director of Oxford University’s Clinical Trial Service Unit & Epidemiological Studies Unit(CTSU) and an expert in large scale studies to investigate the causes, prevention and treatment of common disease. He encourages wide use of the UK Biobank resource across the global research community. More information and key publications.
