He completed BS in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from University of Tehran, MS in Nanomaterials Engineering from Materials and Energy Research Center. He also received PhD in Materials Engineering (ceramic materials) from Iran University of Science and Technology, and in Material Science and Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology,
