Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at UCSF
Mallar Bhattacharya is an Associate Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at University of California, San Francisco.
After earning a bachelor's degree at Harvard College and a master's degree in neuroscience at the University of Oxford, Bhattacharya attended Harvard Medical School. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at UCSF. He also did research training at the UCSF Lung Biology Center.
Bhattacharya's research interests include pneumonia, septic shock and severe asthma.
