Clayton Lewis is currently the President of the Board of Trustees for Harborview Medical Center and Chair of Vimocity Advisory Board. He has more than three decades of experience launching and scaling early-stage companies, including serving on the executive teams that took Onvia and HouseValues public. While serving on the investment team as a general partner at venture firm, Maveron, Lewis cofounded Arivale, a company focused on leveraging genetic data to help individuals optimize wellness and avoid disease.
Lewis’ passion for improving the health and wellness of Americans is the product of building and advising businesses in this sector, as well as stints in government and the health care system. As one of the youngest chiefs of staff on Capitol Hill, Lewis served New York Congresswoman Louise Slaughter who was instrumental in passage of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA). He also served for over a decade on the Board of Trustees of the largest public health hospital in the Pacific Northwest (Harborview Medical Center), including as Board President. He currently chairs Harborview's Strategic Planning Committee.
