​Xijing Hospital, affiliated with the Air Force Medical University in Xi'an, China, is a leading modern comprehensive medical institution. Established in 1939 as the Central Hospital in Yan'an, it has evolved into one of China's top hospitals, offering extensive medical services, education, and research opportunities. 

The hospital boasts 34 clinical disciplines authorized to confer doctoral degrees, including nine national key disciplines and 17 national clinical key specialties. It operates 12 military medical research institutes and six specialty centers. Notably, the Department of Gastroenterology has been ranked first nationwide for over eight consecutive years.
