Professor Ulf Smith is a renowned expert in diabetes research at the University of Gothenburg, where he directs the Lundberg Laboratory for Diabetes Research. His work focuses on insulin resistance, adipose tissue function, and the role of cellular senescence in Type 2 diabetes.
