Dr. Tuvia Ben Gal graduated Medical school at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem 1n 1987, finished his residency in Internal medicine in 1992 and in cardiology in 1997 both in the Rabin Medical Center where he established the Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation clinic, nominated the director of the first Heart Failure Unit in Israel on 2008. He has been one of the pioneers in the field of Heart Failure in Israel and served as the chairman of the working group on Heart Failure during the years 2007-2011. In 2018 was elected for the board of the HFA where he leaded the mechanical circulatory support sub-group in the advanced HF committee During this period, he organized several workshops and webinars. Dr. Ben Gal has published many articles on heart failure and heart transplantation and is a very active contributor to the ISHLT and to the HFA. He is a lecturer in cardiology in the Tel Aviv University.
