Stuti Mishra is Asia climate correspondent at The Independent, covering news on health, economy, policy, climate crisis, and geopolitics.  In this role, she has reported from the United Nations climate summits and has extensively covered various disasters, including Pakistan floods and heatwaves in India. She is particularly interested in stories about environmental justice. Stuti was awarded the Climate Justice Fellowship by Climate Tracker in 2021 and became a member of the Oxford Climate Journalism Network the same year.

Stuti holds a PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Xavier Institute of Communication.
