Dr. Stefanie Wendel is a physician and went to medical school at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen. As part of her doctorate, she was working on the effects of a high-sugar diet on sleep and learning behaviour. At CeGaT she is the Medical Manager for the prevention sector. This includes responsibility for the Disease Prevention Panel which offers the possibility for individual preventive diagnostics based on genetic predispositions for various diseases. She deals with product management, strategy development and sales.
