The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) is Spain’s largest public research institution and ranks among the top in Europe. Established in 1939, CSIC operates under the Ministry of Science and Innovation and is dedicated to advancing scientific and technological research across a wide array of disciplines. It boasts a network of over 120 research centers and institutes spread throughout Spain, employing more than 10,000 staff members, including approximately 3,000 researchers.
