Simon Chandler is the Chief Executive Officer of Rinri Therapeutics, having been involved with the company since its inception. He brings a wealth of experience from earlier roles in biotechnology and venture-building, including at IP Group, where he helped spin out deep-tech companies. He holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Leeds and a PhD in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of York. At Rinri he leads the strategic direction and operations with a vision to develop regenerative cell-based therapies for hearing loss, aiming to restore natural hearing in patients rather than simply providing electronic support.
