The major theme of his research has focused on the regulatory roles of regulatory T cells, dendritic cells, and microRNA and using these for anti-tumor, anti-autoimmunity, and anti-rejection therapy. He has published about 90 papers. His research work was supported by the National Nature Science Foundation of China, Jiangsu Government, and 973 Grant of National Government.
