Pritam Kumar Panda is pursuing Ph.D. at Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University, Sweden under the supervision of Prof. Rajeev Ahuja and Prof. Yogendra Kumar Mishra, Professor MSO and Leader of Smart Materials group at Mads Clausen Institute, University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Denmark. He held his double Master’s in Bioinformatics from Utkal University & D.Y. Patil University, India. He had worked as a graduate scientist in the Division of Pediatric Haematology and Oncology, University of Freiburg, Germany.

He is currently associated with KIIT University, India and Karolinska Institutet, Sweden as as a visiting researcher. Recently he has been engaged with Karolinska Institute to develop vaccines for cardiovascular diseases and arthritis. He has published more than 40 papers including many in top ranked journals, such as Science Advances, Nature Leukemia, Inorganic Chemistry (ACS), Adv. Functional Materials (Wiley) etc. and also serves as referee for various reputed journals. His expertise include bioinformatics, computational biology, 2D materials modelling, nano-biotechnology, biophysics and nanomedicine.
