Professor Gibbs is a medical oncologist with clinical and research interests focused on colorectal cancer. He is a laboratory head at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute, Melbourne, Australia and a Professor in the Department of Medicine at University of Melbourne.

Peter is a leading researcher in medical oncology, with a particular interest in translational research.
