Michael Franco

Science editor for New Atlas

Michael Franco is a science editor for New Atlas. He created direct marketing websites for Hearst, written advertorials for National Geographic, and penned editorial content for a wide range of magazines. He has written for Reader’s Digest, Consumer Reports, American Express and other major brands in the United States. He also worked for the Lime & Tonic, an innovative global travel startup and developed their brand’s voice in Prague as their communications director. His writings got published in in Discovery Channel Magazine, Discover Magazine, CNET, HowToGeek, Lifehacker, and more.

Franco completed his Bachelors in English at Ithaca College and Masters in Creative writing at Manhattanville University.
