Peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal focusing on research in otolaryngology

Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology (LIO) is a peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal established in 2016 and published by Wiley on behalf of The Triological Society. It serves as a companion to the long-standing journal The Laryngoscope, focusing on the rapid dissemination of high-quality research in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. The journal publishes a variety of article types, including original research, clinical trials, comprehensive reviews, short reports, and theoretical or translational studies. Notably, it also accepts negative results and confirmatory studies, promoting a comprehensive scientific discourse.
