Jennifer Liu is a lead work reporter for CNBC Make It, where she covers the job market, the workplace and professional success for Gen Z and millennials. She is part of the team behind CNBC Make It’s “Millennial Money” series, which details how people around the world earn, spend and save their money. 

She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association and has spoken on panels hosted by South By Southwest, the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Prior to joining CNBC in 2019, Jennifer was a personal finance editor at LearnVest and Northwestern Mutual and worked with writers to cover work, money and lifestyle topics. Previously, she helped run digital content for All You magazine, a Time Inc. brand. She earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She lives in Los Angeles.
