The Pasteur Institute of Lille is a research centre and member of the Pasteur Institute network.In its premises the Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) vaccine against tuberculosis was invented. Research on several subjects such cancers, infectious diseases (COVID-19, tuberculosis, whooping cough ...), cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's disease, inflammatory diseases, or even diabetes is carried out on a daily basis to understand and fight against these diseases, to slow down their development, to imagine the treatments of tomorrow.
