Professor of Neurology and Sleep Medicine, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust
Professor Guy Leschziner is a Consultant Neurologist at OneWelbeck. For over 12 years, he has been based at Guy’s Hospital and St Thomas’ Hospital. He runs regular epilepsy and sleep clinics, as well as general neurology clinics.
Over the last decade, he has developed a multidisciplinary sleep service at Guy’s Hospital, the UK’s largest dedicated sleep service. In addition to teaching and research, he has edited the Oxford Handbook of Sleep Medicine, and is a neurology section editor for Principles and Practice of Sleep Medicine.
He also has a keen interest in public engagement, as he is a presenter for BBC Radio 4 and The World Service, and has written two neurology books for the general public – The Nocturnal Brain and The Man Who Tasted Words.
